Mateja Kezman is tipped to start by coach Viktor Gonacharenko despite a niggling thigh injury. Yegor Filipenko (back) looks set to miss the rest of the group stage for BATE Borisov after picking up an injury on international duty, while VItali Rodionov (knee ligaments) and Evgeni Kuntsevich (knee) are long-term absentees. Aleksandr Pavlov made his return from three months on the sidelines with a torn adductor in the reverse fixture against Milan in Italy.

AC Milan were rocked at the weekend by a mystery illness to Antonio Cassano which has seen the striker hospitalised and put under observation. Philippe Mexes is undergoing surgery on his left hand after injuring it in the weekend match against Roma, while Gennaro Gattuso has an eye problem which has forced him out of action since the opening day of the season. Clarence Seedorf (knee), Mathieu Flamini (knee) are also long term injuries, while Luca Antonini (ankle), Pato (thigh) are doubts for the clash.
