Manchester United will visit Goodison Park to meet Everton.

Everton captain Phil Neville and midfielder Tim Cahill will both miss the visit of Manchester United through injury. Neville picked up a hamstring injury during Wednesday’s Carling Cup clash with Chelsea and will not play against his former club, while Cahill played with an injury during that extra-time loss. The in-form Royston Drenthe is suspended for his red card in that game.

Ashley Young is a doubt for Manchester United’s trip to Goodison Park with a toe injury. The England winger will be assessed before the match at Goodison Park but Nemanja Vidic and Tom Cleverley are both in contention after playing against Aldershot in the Carling Cup in midweek. Rafael is back in training after an operation on a shoulder injury but needs some reserve games under his belt before he is considered for the first team again.
